26 weeks

Today I am 26 weeks pregant with my sweet little Tegan Marie. This is the first week in a while that you are getting your belly shots and update on time rather than a few days late, I suppose I am on the ball this week. I am doing wonderful, I am getting back into the always feeling tired stage. I have days where I get in the mood to clean and organize and go go go, other days I get out of bed at 11am and lay on the couch all day feeling flat out exhausted. I am loving everything about pregnancy! Tegan listens to her classical music everyday now, it is said that the complex chords are wonderful for a babies brain developement. I am totally in love with The Vitamin String Quartet, they are amazing! I sing to Tegan all the time, I love singing her the Cuppy Cake Song..I find myself fighting back tears when singing it to her. :) I am just so in love with her and I am loving every second of pregnancy. There is nothing like feeling your little miracle moving within you and watching your belly grow. I can no longer see my feet or vajayjay, both have vanished! haha. Tegan amazes me everyday, I just sit here and watch my belly and smile like I've never smiled before. She loves sticking her butt out, you can cup it in your hand :) if you poke her she will move lol it is so breathtaking. This morning Zach woke up at 6:45 to get ready to go help his dad paint; Tegan was sleeping at the time but he always talks to her. As soon as she heard his voice this morning she kicked him really hard, that just made his day!! She is loved soo very much. I can't wait to hold her in my arms. With how fast time is flying by she will be here in no time.

25 week update

I know I haven't posted an update in a while so I decided I would sit down really fast and let you all know the latest on me and the pregnancy. I finally posted my 25 week belly shots in my belly album, alot has been going on here so I haven't been around. Things are going wonderful as far as the pregnancy goes, I am 25 1/2 weeks pregnant today! I had my OB appointment yesterday, my blood pressure was 102/66 and Tegan's heartbeat was 151. I have my glucose test in 3 weeks and the following week is my last monthly visit then I start going every two weeks! I was given my hospital admission papers to fill out and send in! All of this is soo exciting to Zach and I, it means we are getting closer and closer to our little girl being here!!! Zach told me the other day that he can't wait to hold her and change her poopy diapers! haha He is going to make the best daddy ever! I just can't wait to see the love of my life holding my little dream come true. I am getting bigger and bigger with each week (as you can tell by the pics) I am up 13 1/2 pounds since my pre pregnancy weight. Tegan is one strong active little girl, she kicks me so hard now that you can see my belly bouncing from the outside, she even kicks my necklace off of my belly! I love sitting here watching my belly bounce. She is a blessing beyond all words! I got her homecoming dress and hat in the mail today, they are darling and soo tiny! I was neverous because the dress is 3 months, but it is shown on a doll so I didn't think it would be that big and it isn't, it is smaller than some of her newborn clothes, it is totally perfect and I can't wait to bring her home in it :)

Zachary and I have been on the hunt for the perfect outfit to bring our little miracle home in and finally we found it! Thank you Lindsey for coming across such a darling site and telling me about it!!!! I ordered her dress and hat today! I can't wait to get it and see it in person :)
I originally had an adorable sleeper gown picked out but Zach didn't like it so I let him chose her outfit and I think he did a wonderful job! She is going to look darling in ther little dress and ruffle butt tights!

While looking at everything Zach came across this little hat and he fell in love with it. He said she would need it for the winter so we should just buy it for her..hahaha already Tegan has daddy wrapped around her pinky :)

she will be sooo cute! I can't wait to hold her. I am 25 weeks today! It is amazing to think that in as little as 12 weeks she could be here! come on 37 weeks!

I want to start off by saying that I dont have many pics to share with you all just yet. I put my sister in charge of taking pics with my camera and I came home to look at them and our heads are cut out of all of them. So I am waiting to get the pics my mil and bil took. I am also very disgusted with the way I look in all the pics, my face and arms look soo fat :( I had no idea I looked like that eek! Gotta love retaining water!

The night before my shower I couldn't fall asleep until 1am then I was awake every single hour looking at the clock, I was so excited that I didn't get any sleep lol. I couldn't wait for 1 to get here so I could head over to the shower and await 2 for everyone to start coming. We had a wonderful turn out! There were about 50 people there, many more were invited but didn't come. My gift table kept overflowing and swallowing my guest book lol so we had to keep moving gifts. I couldn't believe how much we got! We had around 5 games linned up but didn't get to do anything other than the diaper raffle or baby bingo, we had to use all our time opening gifts up lol. Tegan is one very loved and very spoiled little girl :) I love everything she got and I feel so blessed to have such awesome people in our lives, people that prayed for us while we were trying to conceive and people that came to the shower to celebrate our little miracle!

After church yesterday we did a little shopping with my giftcards and got a breast pump, another boppy cover, a quilted carseat cover for the winter, two pairs of shoes, soothies, some winter clothes, an adorable little pink bunny that giggles. After my OB apt on thursday we are going to take one of her swings back to target. I can't believe all that we got! This baby shower didn't have any of my moms side of the family invited, my second baby shower with all her family is only 19 days away!!!

24 week belly shots.

I finally had Zach take my belly shots this morning so I could post them. I know I will have plenty of pics to post this weekend so I figured I better just do it today. I also wanted to share Tegan's new sign with you all. Zach had one lonely piece of wood in the garage calling my name so I had him sand it down for me. I think it finishes her wall so well :)

p.s. only 2 more days until my shower! yay!

ok I love blogger, but I dont like that you can't send messages..so I will have to respond here. April!! Thanks for the sweet advice! I just looked online for the moby sling and love it :) I will have to get one! I am one that wont do anything other than walking to make labor come on. Tegan will come when she is ready to come :) I would never ever do castor oil, nor could I get it down lol. I dont even want to have to be induced, I want my body to do it all on its own. I am a BIG believer in swaddling and cuddling, I think it is very important for the baby :) As for snaps..thankfully the sleepers she has can be both sleepers and gowns...wonderful investment! lol.

24 weeks already!

I have gotten a little behind on blogging and for that Im sorry. I have been super busy being my crafty self haha. Alot of things have been going on, it seems the weeks just fly right on by which is totally fine by me! I am now 24 weeks pregnant with my Tegan Marie! It is so crazy to think that she could be here in as little as 13 more weeks..although I hope she comes around thanksgiving :) I wish I could ask her when she is going to make her big entrance to the world!!I can't wait to meet my little girl, I can't wait to see what she looks like, I can't wait to look into her eyes and tell her I love her and I can't wait to smell the top of that little head (the head that is always poking out my side haha). I am doing wonderful!! I have gained 13 pounds to date..it is crazy because I haven't gained anything but belly and boobs which is super exciting to me!!! My breasts are still leaking, it is now a daily thing so I hope that means I will have an awesome milk supply when my milk actually comes in. I went shopping with my wonderful mother in law on saturday to buy decor and things for my upcoming baby shower! I had a wonderful time out but it really whipes me out!!! Party city had the cutest babygirl shower decor, I can't wait to see everything set up and put together!! I have waited soo long for this moment. I have always been the girl sitting at babyshowers in tears hoping that someday it would be me opening the gifts with the giant belly..and here I am!!! Saturday is my big baby shower, I have been having dreams about who will be there and what I will get and how the decor will look. I can't sleep and wont be able to until it is here!! THEN in a few more weeks I have a second baby shower!! My mom is throwing me the other shower with her side of the family and such, then I will be back to excited and unable to sleep! There are so many things in the upcoming months to look forward to!!! This friday we are going to see "fly me to the moon", saturday is my babyshower, next thursday I have my ob appointment and before I know it it will be septembter!! September 6th is my other baby shower, then October 1st is my 21st birthday, October 8th is mine and Zachary's 3 year wedding anni!! November will be here before we know it and in the blink of an eye my little Tegan will be here!! It is so exciting to think about!

I will post 24 week belly shots and baby shower pics either saturday or sunday so be on the look out!! I will stop by babbling for now....

NEVER have I been more scared in my life!

My mother in law came over today after she got off of work to mow our lawn..she is one of those silly people that loves to mow after a hard days work, she says it releases all her stress and is a good work out. She was getting ready to head back to her house right around the time Zach was leaving for work. We were watching the news and it said that we had very severe thunderstorms and 70 mph winds coming our way..so me not wanting to be home alone during such a horrid storm I grabed the dog and went with my mother in law to stay the night at her house in mt morris which is 10 minutes from polo where I live. Of corse not even a block from my house it starts to rain and the winds kick in, rather than turning around we keep going..never is it as bad as the news says it is going to be. Well we get just out of polo and it hits BAD! Where I live it is all little towns in the middle of the country..that is it! So we were in our car in the middle of the country during this horrid storm...then the thing on the radio goes off saying to get to a basement asap, the winds were blowing so bad we couldn't see and the car was blowing all over so finally we pull up into someones drive way next to a barn to block us from some of the wind and try to wait it out a bit. The car was rocking all over, I was crying and praying my little heart out. All I could see in my head was the car flipping and blowing away and something happening to my sweet Tegan. I wasn't even worried about me, I was worried that if something were to happen to me Zach would be losing his baby girl. I was trying to stay calm so I was taking deep breaths and praying praying praying. Zach called the cell phone to let us know he made it to work, thank God! I told him we were still out in it so be thinking of us..and he said. that there is a tornado in mt morris! Finally it lets up enough for us to drive..so we finally get to mt morris and there were trees down EVERYWHERE! you had to weave up and down streets to even get through the town because nearly every street had a tree blocking it. We got to my mother in laws house and I just broke down and cried and cried, I am so thankful God was watching over us and that we are all ok! There is no electric or phones in mt morris, or oregon (where zach works), and trees were down everywhere...polo always gets hit harder so all I could then think about was my house because we have two giant trees in the yard. My mom picked me up from my mil's and brought me home to make sure everything was ok..polo didn't get hit half as bad, we still have power and my house is ok. I should have never left home, but thankfully I am back home and both Tegan and I are well.
