the most amazing sound ever!

I awoke this morning to the door bell ringing, me in my bedhead and too small of a tank top went to the door to find that my doppler was here!!!! I was SOO excited! I sat right down and tried it out :) Zach loves it, he loves finding the heart beat and sitting there listening to it. We were playing with sweet tart..we would have the heartbeat and then talk to the baby and the baby would move lmao!!! For a minute we could hear both mine and the baby's heart beating together, it was the most amazing sound ever!!!! It nearly brought tears to my eyes :) It is so awesome hearing your babys beating heart but to hear your heart and your babys heart beating together is just breath taking. I had to record the sound with my camera to save it forever. I wanted to share it will you :) Sweet Tart is the one with the fast beat and you can hear mine (the slower beat) in the background. aww Im in love!!!! I hope you all find this as amazing as I do :)

17 week OB apt!


I had my 17 week appointment today. It was the usual ob apt, urine test, weight, bp, and fetal heartbeat check. Everything went well. My blood pressure was at 114/56 and my weight is slowly going up. They tried getting sweet tarts heart beat using the doppler, we heard two beats and kept losing it so we couldn't get a reading lmao so the Dr got out the small little portable ultra sound machine to get a reading and still couldn't. The heart was beating nice and strong but the baby was moving all over lmao sweet tart wouldn't stay still long enough to get a nice reading. Dr B wanted me to come back in two weeks for my AFP quad screening done and then come back the following week for my 20 week ultra sound. I asked if we could just do the blood work and the us at 19 weeks when I go in for the quad screen..he told me no that the ultra sound has to be done at 20 weeks (whatever) so they let me do the blood work when I was in there today. I live an hour and fifteen minutes from the Ob's office and it is plain nuts to drive there for blood work one week and drive there the next week. So my BIG ultra sound is scheduled for 2:30 on July 14th, it is then that we will find out what we are having!!!!! 3 weeks from today and counting!!!!!! holy cow in three weeks I will be half way through the pregnancy, wow!

I am doing well, having crazy round ligament pains. I am starting to feel the baby more and more :) I will take and post my 17 week pictures tomorrow!!!!

16 weeks!

Sorry I am a day behind in my weekly update but yesterday Zach and I went to see kung-foo panda and then we came home and grilled out together. It was so beautiful here yesterday we had to set outside! Zach even took some 16 week pics outside to put in our pregnancy scrapbook.


So wow, 16 weeks! I am 4 months pregnant now and only 4 weeks shy of being half way through!!!!! I am feeling Sweet Tart more and more, right now the little flutters make me giggle! I find it so cute!!! I can't wait to feel full on kicks! I am doing well. I still have my days full of nausea and vommit, today being one of them. I am still only up 4 1/2 pounds from my pre pregnancy weight, I swear those 4 pounds are in my boobs alone lmao!!! My belly is getting rounder and rounder, I am starting to get little white stretch marks too..bring on the mommy marks! I will take them with pride!!! I have my next ob apt on monday at 2, I am having blood work done and the normal check up...at that appointment I will then find out when my next ultra sound is. I can't wait for my next ultra sound! I can't wait to find out what Im having!!!!!!! I hope I get to find out before my baby shower invites get sent out..my shower will be August 16th, oh I can't wait!!!!

home at last

ahhhhhh there is just NO place like home!!!! After a week of me(sweet tart) and my three furbabies at my inlaws house..I am finally home at last. The floors look SO beautiful, it was well worth it but goodness Im glad it is done. Now all that is left is painting the trim in the living room and laying down the corner round..oh and I have to make new curtains for the 6 windows in the living room so they match the new primitive decor. Whenever our stimulis check gets in Im going to buy a new rug for the living room to complete the touch :) It is going to look so perfect! Today Zach and I did some shopping for our little Sweet Tart hehe we love buying things for the baby!!! We bought the dresser/changer today, 3 baskets to go on the hutch that goes with the dresser (the hutch was bought last year), we picked up a packet of onsies, a layette set, a changing pad for the changer and two toys!! you know they still sell those fischer price phones from when we were little..the ones that you pull and the eyes move!!! totally got sweet tart one of those!!! lol. oh and a bib that says " I love daddy" aw!!! We try to pick up something for sweet tart each paycheck to get things bought and out of the way so that it is less to have to buy later. Our next big purchase is our travel system. YES I know I have a baby shower comming ahead of me BUT I couldn't ever put a dresser or travel system on my list and expect it to be bought for me, those things aren't cheap by any means. Plus things like that I feel better with having now..I am a plan ahead kind of girl. I always have been and always will be, but in the end of things I never end up behind or falling short because I have been planning such things for years. I have had the baby crib since last feb lmao and heck I had my wedding dress before being engagged and I had everything bought for our house by the age of 17.

I will be sure to take pics of the floors once the trim gets painted..not sure when that will be yet but right now our pretty new floors are against ugly wood trim that doesn't match lmao so you will have to wait a bit :)

OMG and today is FRIDAY! which means tuesday is almost here which means I am going to be 16 weeks pregnant, 4 months! holy cow!!!! Goodness Im excited!!! We picked up fathers day cards today and I pulled off picking out a sweet card for zach with him with me, hehe now I know how my mom always bought xmas gifts for us when we were with her...Moms are good! haha

15 weeks

Im 15 weeks pregnant today!!! It is crazy to think that in 25 weeks I will be holding my miracle in my arms!!! I am almost half way there!!! yay! I am doing well. Im gaining weight right on track now, although eating is still hard. I have good days where I can eat and then I have days that every time I eat I feel like Im going to throw up. I am feeling my body stretch out now, and my boobs are growing even more lol. I went from a small 34 b to a full 36c! My boobs are full of stretch marks, FULL but those are my mommy marks :) My belly is still nice and clear of stretch marks (for now). I feel the baby move nearly once a day now, just teeny little flutters. I can't wait until then turn into full on kicks and flips :) I am so much in love with this little baby, all I can do is daydream about my delivery day and holding my baby in my arms! I can't wait to see my husband hold our little baby, I will just melt! He is going to make such a good daddy!!!!

14 1/2 wk us and ob apt update.

Hello everyone! I hope you all haven't missed me too much ;) Sorry I didnt' get on and post a blog right after my OB apt on friday but it has been so nuts and tiring. I had a horrid headache friday so all I did was lay around my mils house. Saturday we had a grad party to go to at my mother in laws sisters house, the guys took a break from the floors and came with us. I am still living with my two cats and dog at Zach's parents house. The floors look wonderful, lol zach made me a little video to bring home to show me. They are almost done, there is only 1/3 of the living room left then we have to wait for it to dry and cure and then I can move back home!!!!!! This weekend has been such a horrid week as far as weather goes, every single day we have had bad storms, trees are down every where, everything is getting hit by lightning and things are flooding. I am so tired of this horrid weather, Im ready for fall already!


So onto my ob apt. I had gained a pound since my previous appointment (yay) I was so excited to see that because my eating is back to crap, the headaches make my tummy turn so of corse I dont feel hungry. I have given in and taken tylonal, I know it is said to be safe but I really rather not take anything..it just makes me nervous. The US tech was snotty and didn't want to look to see what we were having :( sort of made me sad but I have a beautiful healthy baby and that is all that matters. I will find out soon enough. Sweet Tart was moving his/her little mouth like crazy lol it was soo adorable!!! The heart beat was at 157...I always love seeing that little flutter :) The baby has big long legs and is now weighing a while 3 oz!! After the ultra sound I saw my dr, they went over my lab results and checked my blood preasure. My BP was at 102/60 and all my labs turned out well. Everything is going great! I go back in three weeks for a regular OB apt and for more labs. Then Im assuming 3 weeks after that will be my us because I will be 20 weeks by then! I can't believe I will be 15 weeks tomorrow!

I just feel like crying!

I feel like laying in bed and crying, except only I can't get to my bed!!! As you know we are refinishing our hardwood floors..we knew it would be hard work and stressful but goodness! So far the baby's room and halway are sanded and stained...the floors are still tacky and it has been over 42 hours and they were supposed to have dried in 8! We are in 80 degree weather with 90% humidity and freaking rain which is dragging the project out and making it sucky!!!! We knew it would be hard work, we knew it was going to take alot of time...be we know it will look beautiful and be so worth it when it is done. The past two nights I have slept in the basement and made the basement my home, clearly I couldn't be upstairs while they were staining, and I couldn't get to my room if I tried. Tonight my father in law is comming over after work and will be here working on the poly coat on the hall and baby room and working on some sanding in the living room. Zach works 12 hour night shift (on two days off two days) so tonight zach will be working. I have to go stay with my mother in law at her house with my two cats and my dog. I can't be here when they are doing the poly. I feel horrible about the entire situation...like I am going to be in the way or be a hassle. I feel bad taking my cats to her house for her to scoop their box, but clearly I can't do it. I wont have my food or the comfort of being home..even though the basement sucks at least I am home. So today I am trying to do laundry to be able to have some clothes to take over for my 3-5 day stay at my mils house. When I put the clothes in the dryer the drum wouldn't spin! My poor exhusted hubby got up and helped me...I took all the clothes out and he looked at it and the damn thing started working..he got out of bed (or off the futon I should say) to look at a dryer that is trying to make a liar out of me but he heard it and knew something was wrong. thankfully it is working now. I was crying! Zach's work car has a flat tire..the stem is leaking ugh! So now we only have one car and my house and my inlaws house is about 15 minutes away from each other. Zach is planning on getting home from work tomorrow at 7 and getting straight to work on the floors..makes me feel so bad, he needs some sleep!!! We have my ultra sound tomorrow, thank goodness something to brighten up my week!!! I keep reminding myself of sweet tart and that we are doing all this to the house to have everything perfect for the arrival, so we wont have to worry about doing things to the house once the baby gets here. I know it will all be worth it, and the house is going to look so beautiful when it is all the way done. I just can't wait for it to be all the way done!! Right now everything from my living room is either on the front porch, in the kitchen or in the bedroom, there is nothing left on the walls or anything. If you know me I am one of those crazy anal freaks that has to have everything in its place..so clearly this is killing me! After my floors are all done and beautiful Zach is going to paint the trim burgandy, and we are getting a new big 8ftx11ft area rug and changing our decor in the living room to primitive. I have to make all new curtains for the 6 windows we have in here lol...I can't wait to see it all done, it will look so amazing!!! I really cant wait to see baby toys and such rolling around the living room too!!!! ahhh..this blog started off a total bitch/whine blog and now I am all smiling daydreaming of my sweet tart being home!! this baby makes me so happy, when my day feels horrible all I have to do is look at my belly and everything seems better again :) maybe just MAYBE we will find out what we are having tomorrow, oh I would be sooooo excited!! keep your fingers crossed that I get an ultra sound tech that is willing to look and that the baby is willing to show!

14 weeks!

Today makes me 14 weeks pregnant with my little Sweet Tart!!!! I can't believe in about 26 weeks I will be holding my miracle in my arms!!! I am 6 weeks away from being half way there, yay!!!! I have been doing well, I haven't thrown up since friday which is so wonderful. I weighed myself this morning to find that I am now up 5 whole pounds since my pre pregnancy weight of 133 I was soooo excited to see that I am finally back on track with my weight gain. I still dont eat much but as long as the numbers on the scale keep going up that is all that matters so me!! My favorite things to eat are fruit salad, peanut butter toast, celery and chocolate milk! Most days nothing sounds good at all other days I have mad cravings! I finally got my nachos from taco bell yesterday, yum!!! I am starting to have some strong roud ligament pains, I notice them most when changing sleep positions and when getting off the couch. I still dont have any stretch marks on my belly :) but my boobs are a different story! I have become the queen of coco butter so I really hope it helps keep my skin pretty...if not I will have the beautiful mommy marks..stretch marks dont really bother me because I know that they are from my miracle but it would be nice to be mark free hehe. I had a busy weekend, I had my cousins graduation party on saturday (which is why I have a horrid farmers tan in the pics) and then my step brothers graduation and grad party sunday..needless to say I was beyond pooped by the end of sunday! I came home and layed on the couch and awoke to a dark house 4 hours later lmao!!! I get so tired so fast now! I have another busy week ahead of me, Zach and his dad are redoing our hard wood floors this week YAY!! I can't wait for them to be done!!!! The floors in the baby room will be done today and the living room and hall will get done this weekend..so my house is a mess from things being moved around and such lol..I am chilling in the basement today but come this weekend I will have to go stay at my mother in laws to avoid the fumes when they do the living room. Friday at 3:30 I have my first ultra sound with my ob, Im going to see if he can take a little peek and get some idea as to what we are having!! I know they will say it is too early blah blah but I have 3 friends that found out the sex at 12 weeks and I will be 14 1/2 so it is worth a shot. I just can't wait to find out if I am pregnant with my little Ezra Mykel or my Tegan Marie!!!!! Here is my 14 week belly shot and some pictures that were taken on sunday at the party :) enjoy!!!!
