Labs finally in!

Nothing like taking FOREVER!! I had my labs drawn last thrusday, finally today my dr got the labs faxed to him. They no longer check my estrogen because it has been nice and high on my own for a few weeks now. This was the very first time I had labs done without being on progesterone supplements. I was soo nervous to get off of the progesterone but the results showed that my body is doing very well on its own. My progesterone dropped alot from when I was on the supplements which we knew would happen. I am holding srong with a progesterone level of 44, my dr likes to see anything above 25 so I am doing well. The nurse said I can go back on thursday to have it checked again to keep my mind at ease. I know all will be well but of corse I worry. Thank you for the prayers and please keep them comming!!! Only 3 weeks from today until my 12 week ultra sound!

8 weeks!

Today I am 8 weeks pregnant! That makes me a whole 2 months along which puts me in my third month of pregnancy!!!!!! After this month is over I will be into my second trimester yay!!!! only 7 more months until I get to hold my little miracle!!!! I feel so blessed with each day that passes. I pray to God each night to continue to keep his hands on my womb and cradle this baby. Too many take such little things for granted. Each little breath and tiny heart beat is a miracle in its own!! To think I have a little person with a beating heart growing within me is so amazing!!! It is amazing how much in love you can be with such a little being that you have known for such a short time. Each and every day our baby goes through giant leaps and bounds with another astounding development!!!! The miracle of life is so wonderful and so far beyond amazing!!!!!!! ahh Im in love! I went in yesterday for my last round of blood work to check my hormones, I should get the results today or monday. I am all the way off my hormone supplements!!! The results that I will be getting are the numbers that my body did all by itself!!! I will be sure to post as soon as I hear anything! I have been feeling wonderful! Each day I feel more and more pregnant! My gag reflux has kicked in FULL force! I gag over smells, tastes, textures even thoughts!!! Sometimes I just gag and heave out of no where!!! I am constantly hungry, I swear I am never full so I sit and gag down food that I would love to do without to save my gagging lol but I have to feed that baby! It is said that while pregnant you should eat 300 more calories than the recommended daily amount, I dont think I have ever eaten close to the recommended amount, except for days at mc donalds lmao one cheeseburger will give you that! I will just continue to eat what I eat and as long as I am gaining weight then that is all that matters I suppose. I am up a whole 4 pounds now..I have gained one pound this past month so I think I am doing well. I can't wait for my next ultra sound!!! Only 4 weeks to go until I get to see my baby again!!! yay!!! OH! I got my baby chime in the mail today!!! I love it! It makes the softest little soothing chime :) I just have to buy a chain to wear it on I dont trust anything other than a nice box chain and all the ones I have aren't long enough..so I will be on the hunt now!!!!! Enough rambling! I am hungry...I think a grilled cheese sounds wonderful for lunch!!!!

New Lab Results are in!!!!

My Nurse called me this morning to give me the lab results that were taken on friday while at my ultra sound. I am now officially weened off my estrogen hormone supplements. My level did drop a bit but it is still very high! I have been off estrogen for two weeks now and my level is hanging strong at 1300! My nurse is very happy with that number and says that is is very very good..so yay for my body!!! I was cut down to one progesterone supplement a day and with that my level dropped down to 176 which is still very high, so I am in the clear to completely get off of it! My body is doing everything on its own!! I go in friday morning for another round of blood work to check my progesterone seems how I haven't been completely without before and they want to make sure it is still nice and high. My nurse sounded very positive and she doesn't think that there is any way that my progesterone would drop down below 40 which is the number they love to see. I am very very happy that my body is kicking into gear on its own and wanting this baby as much as I do :) I am 7 weeks 3 days pregnant today although measuring 7 weeks 6 days my dr hasn't changed my due date as of yet so I am still set for dec 5th...I can't believe that on friday I will be 2 months pregnant already!!! Only 7 months to go until I get to meet my little miracle!!!!

Here is my 7 week belly shot, I didn't think I was any different from last week but with comparing last weeks picture and this weeks I can tell. I am more rounded in front by my belly button. It is amazing how if you look at yourself every day you dont notice until you compare pictures!

I ordered my belly chime today! They are sold out everywhere due to silver issues and I found a website that had 3 in stock so I snaged one right up so I can have one. I have wanted one so bad and I can't wait to get it!!! for those that dont know what a belly chime is here is the website that explains :) they seem so wonderful and like such a bonding tool! http://www.babychime.com/

7 week ultra sound!

I am home from my ultra sound!! My apt was at 8 but they were a bit behind so I got in at 8:30. I was so doped up from the prometrium that I wasn't nervous or scared just excited to see my sweet little miracle! Sweet tart is growing nice and big and has a beautiful strong heart beat!!! I am 7 weeks pregnant today but sweet tart is measuring in at 7 wks 3 days and a big 11.9mm crown to rump length. The heartbeat is a nice strong 138 bpm :)
according to the old wise tale the heart beat says boy but in my family that myth doesn't hold true..all the boys in my family had high heart beats and the girls had the ones below 140.I will find out what I am havin in about 10 weeks and unless the goods are nice and visible I still wont believe what I am having until the day I give birth, after all I was said to be a boy!! I didn't get to hear the ultra sound because I have a tilted uterus and it was hard to get to and they didn't want to poke around in there too long but we did get to see that beautiful little beating heart!!! I will get to hear it at my next apt for sure! I actually didn't cry at all, shocking I know, I was too excited, happy, in awe and just plain proud to see my baby that I couldn't cry, I was all smiles!! Im sure it will hit me later today because I will be staring and my beautiful pictures all day!! I go in for my next ultra sound with my RE at 12 weeks which is may 20th at that apt they are going to record the us for me and I will be released to my OB dr! Thank you all so much for your continued prayers! I haven't done a belly shot yet today, but I will do one sometime this weekend..I dont look much different from last week but as promised I will share!

today is the day!

Today is the day! A very important day, yay!!!! hehe I am headed out to the RE for my first US. Im so excited to see my little sweet tart/s. What a wonderful day!! I will post a blog as soon as I get home. Please be praying for a strong little heartbeat :)

only two more days

I can finally say the day after tomorrow! The day after tomorrow I get to see my little sweet tart for the first time and see that little beating heart! yay for the day after tomorrow! now if only tomorrow would get here ;) Today should go by fast, when dh wakes up he is taking me to subway to fulfill a craving and then to DQ for an oreo blizzard! Tonight we have my grandpa's birthday party to attend then come home and not too long after that I will be passed out!

A WONDERFUL week in the works!

It is going to be a fabulous week for Zachary and I!! We have our seven week ultra sound on friday morning! WOOHOO only 4 days to go!! I am so pumped that I will be 7 weeks and beyond ecstatic that I will get to see our little miracle for the first time. I have been feeling well. Super queasy, and emotional, I am starting to feel my body growing and shifting and it is getting more and more uncomfy to sleep at night not to mention the million trips to the bathroom. I have seriously pondered making a bed in the bathroom lol!!! I am loving every second of this pregnancy, nausea and all..it just makes it that much more real :) I will be sure to keep the updates coming!!! Have a wonderful week!!!

6 weeks pregnant

Today makes me 6 weeks pregnant with our little sweet tart(s)!! The nausea and heartburn has kicked in full force, not to mention I am ALWAYS hungry! I still constantly crave popsicles, and still I can't seem to get enough of them..thankfully they are the homemade ones with fruit juice instead of the ones loaded with sugar!!! I have been having more and more aches that feel like growing pains. If I dont sleep on my side with a blanket between my legs and wedged under my belly I am not comfy. I have gained 3 pounds so far, lmao and according to the books you should only gain 3-5 pounds in the first trimester..lmao I am halfway through it what am I supposed to do about the other 6 weeks I have to go haha. Although I feel like Im eating all the time I really dont eat much, I have just gone from one giant meal a day to 6 small meals a day even with that I doubt I even make 2,500 calories. About all I can eat right now is potatoes, popsicles, corn, and crackers, I did gag down some chicken breast yesterday lmao! Only one week to go until our 7 weeks ultra sound! Im excited to see if there are one or two in there!!!!

I finally got my hormone results this morning that I had done on tuesday! I was starting to think I would never get them! As I explained in my last blog my estrogen and progesterone levels are crazy high so I am in the process of weening off of my supplements. My body is doing very well on its own and is ready to support a pregnancy. I had been taking 2 pills of estrogen a day which left me with a estrogen level or 1883, I cut that down to only one pill a day and it nearly doubled!! My estrogen level is now at 2529!! So my body is kicking into gear! I was taking 600mg of progesterone which gave me a level of 271, I cut my dose down to 400mg a day and my level is 245, so that went down which is good lmao. A normal range for my time in pregnancy is 20-40 and I am still over 200 more! So My body is doing sooo well! There just may be two in there ;) Only a week until we find out! I am now am now completely off of the estrogen supplement, and I will be cutting down to only 200mg of progesterone a day. I will have my levels checked again next friday at my ultra sound!

5 weeks with Sweet Tart!

Today I am five weeks pregnant with our little sweet tart. I srarted the process of weening off my supplements yesterday. I am currently taking 2 prometrium and 1 femtrace a day, and I haven't even noticed. I am feeling wonderful!!! I am starting to get tired more often, things such as getting groceries poops me out. My boobs are ginormous and sore and my jean skirts are uncomfy on my belly so I have been living in gouchos. I am starting to form a little pouch :) I took a pre pregnancy pic a few months ago to compare with because I dont have a teeny flat belly, I have a 4 week picture and I took a 5 week pitcture. I will be taking belly shots every single week of the pregnancy to put with my weekly journal entries that I am making for the baby. I wont share all of them, but I will share some. Here are my pre preg, 4wk, and 5wk pictures. You can tell a difference!! grow sweet tart grow!!!

labs are in from yesterday!

My nurse called me with the results, my dr is beyond impressed with all of my levels! As of yesterday my estrogen level is 1883 and my progesterone level is 271.8! My numbers are CRAZY high! My dr wants me off of all supplements because of how high my levels are, he feels that my body is doing well on its own. I was told that ladies that do PIO and prometrium still dont have levels as crazy high as mine are. I told the nurse flat out that I dont feel comfortable cutting out all supplements in one day and that I am not going to even risk losing this baby so she said that I can cut the dose down and get labs done to be sure my levels are good and keep doing so until I am weened off.They said that the hormones I am on right now alone couldn't make my numbers so high so they know my body is kicking into gear and doing well on it's own. My dr likes seeing a progesterone at least 40 and I have went above and beyond that number! I have been taking 600mg of prometrium a day and 2 femtrace a day, I will now be taking one femtrace and 400mg of prometrium a day. I go in next week for another hormone check to be sure everything is still nice and high and we will go from there on if I need to still cut back more on supplements. My dr said that there is nothing wrong with some extra hormones so if it will make me feel better then there is nothing wrong with slowly cutting back. Please continue to pray for our sweet tart and this miracle pregnancy!!!

for those that have asked. my sister is home now, they did keep her overnight due to pain and such. She got to come home this morning and is doing ok but in a great deal of pain. thank you for keeping her in your thoughts :)

2nd beta results are in! us date! yay

I went in early this morning for my second beta and hormone check to be sure my numbers were going up. Your beta is supposed to double every two days and Zach and I had figured that today my beta should have been in the 700 range, boy were we off!! lmao The nurse giggled and said "well your beta more than doubled! lmao" I asked her what the exact number was and she replied telling me that it is a big 1312.0!!!!!! They dont have my estrogen and progesterone levels in from todays labs but I asked what my progesterone was on friday when I had my labs done and as of friday it was 220.9! yay! everything is going soo well!!! I am feeling wonderful! I can't get enough of sunny d and popsicles, they are my favorite right now! Zach even made me popsicles out of sunny d..oh yum! I am scheduled for a 7 week ultra sound on the 18th of april- only 17 days away yay!!!! I am 4 weeks 4 days pregnant!

As some of you know, my little sister had surgery today to remove a bone tumor from her foot. The surgery went very well and the drs were happy to find that the tumor was ontop of the bone rather than in the bone so it was easy removal. It didn't look cancerous but they sent it out to be sure. She is doing well. She may get to come home tonight if she isn't in too much pain. Right now she is sore and unable to keep food down so please pray for a fast recovery.
